CD Caçarola Orquestra de Baixos

Caçarola Bass Orchestra, as the name says, is a band formed only by bass players. All sounds present in the band’s first album comes in some way the different types of basses and their equipment (pedals, amps, cables, etc..). Fingerings at electric basses, arcs at acoustic basses, drums in ‘baixolões’, and beyond. The album cover follows the same concept of the band. Photomontages made with basses peaces and parts. The use of typography and the option for white background contrasts with the loose tone of the assembly, calling for more academic aspect of the project. The final result translate the band’s music: a composition that stands out for the multiplicity in a mixture of acoustic bass to electric bass, in which you can not recognize very well where one begins and another ends.

CD Match

Match is the band led by musician, composer and music producer Matheus Duarte. Along with Valderval Oliveira (drums) and André Nisgosky (bass), he plays a project full of groove, mixing references ranging from seventies rock to electronic music.

The cover of the band’s first album is a dreamlike patchwork that appeals to abstraction. But the looking closer the viewer gradually realizes that it’s a mix of visual elements present in the video for the band’s first single (“Enchendo a Barriga de Som”), also produced by Cia Canalhas.

CD Confraria da Costa

Confraria da Costa’s band makes a mix of classic rock’n'roll with references to blues, polka, among others. The band’s style is often recognized as “pirate-like”.

The album cover is an illustration pirate-like/bohemian full of references to things and people that somehow influenced the band. Among them are Tom WaitsPatch Adams, Luigi Lucheni and Rock n’ roll’s father itself, the Devil.

CD Anacrônica – Deus e os Loucos

“Deus e os Loucos” is the debut album of pop-rock band from Curitiba (Brazil): Anacrônica. The artwork creates a playful and surreal environment. The cover references to both the forbidden fruit of original sin, as the Pandora’s box. Both stories speak about the figure of the woman, referring to the female singer of the band. On the back a “God / Crazy” puppet, once free of the box, create the universe with his thoughts.

EP – Vilma Ribeiro

The art of Vilma Ribeiro‘s EP was designed to fit within the planned visual identity for the artist, doing basically the use of vintage textures as an element of unity between the parts of the campaign.

The design of the EP has been intended to fit the unit’s campaign in a simpler way, preserving the visual potential of the campaign for the cd. For this reason the package is designed by a special knife to cut the cost of production of the material on one side and give a simplier visual on the other.
